Meiden America Switchgear, a pioneer in high-performance vacuum technology, is expanding its operations in Laurens County. The company, founded in Tokyo, Japan, plans to invest an additional $9.2 million and create 43 new jobs in Laurens County, SC, to expand its existing production facility and office space to accommodate several new product lines for the North American market.
